RISE - Suggested Event Ideas

These suggested event ideas are to cultivate courageous, principled, and culturally grounded leaders by fostering faith, civic engagement, intellectual dialogue, cultural pride and community empowerment. We aim to create spaces where diverse voices can lead with conviction, strengthen their communities, defend timeless values and engage confidently in the public square with integrity, compassion and courage.

The following event ideas provide ideas to carry out the mission. For detailed operations guide for each event, see drop down features below.

We recommend leaders take at least ten pictures throughout the event, use activism kits and supplies as well as wear a TPUSA Communities branded shirt.

COMMUNITY SOCIAL EVENT IDEAS:

RISE Community Social: Neighborhood gathering with food, music, and family activities that introduce RISE and build relationships.

Event Goals:

  • Introduce the mission, values, and vision of RISE to the local community

  • Build trust and authentic relationships among attendees

  • Create a welcoming environment for families, young professionals, students, and community leaders

  • Encourage civic engagement and community involvement

The Empowerment Exchange: Educational workshop covering financial literacy, entrepreneurship, or civic education.

Event Goals:
